If you’re someone who’s obsessed with skincare and transdermal plant medicine like me, you’re probably familiar with or at least heard about stem cell products. Over the past few years, stem cell products, along with peptides and growth factors, have become extremely popular. Plant stem cells offer promising benefits to our skin, such as antioxidants, age management, and repairing properties.

During the earliest stages of our existence, when we are formed as a fertilized egg, we start as a single cell. This cell then divides into two, and the process continues. Eventually, these cells find their purpose and function in various parts of our bodies, such as our brains, skin, blood, and muscles. They become known as differentiated cells. However, there are also leftover cells that haven’t been assigned a specific role, and we call them STEM CELLS. These unique cells have the ability to divide and create copies of themselves, which can be utilized in different areas of our bodies. In our bodies, stem cells mainly come from either an embryo or our own tissues, and we have up to 200,000 of them. They offer significant healing and anti-inflammatory benefits and are commonly used in stem cell therapy—a regenerative medical approach that promotes the repair of diseased and damaged tissues by transplanting stem cells to the affected site.

Plant stem cells possess remarkable potency, containing up to 1,000 times more antioxidants than other botanical extracts. Incorporating even small amounts of plant stem cells into skincare has been clinically proven to boost collagen synthesis, promote cell renewal, and visibly diminish signs of photoaging. It’s truly incredible! Research findings have demonstrated that plant stem cells can exhibit comparable effects to youthful stem cells when applied to aging skin stem cells.

Kinetin: This compound, found in plants, is responsible for the longevity of a plant’s stem cells. It not only safeguards the plant’s DNA but has also demonstrated similar anti-aging effects on the skin as retinoids. Kinetin is a fantastic ingredient for combating signs of aging, and it’s stable and well-tolerated by various skin types.

Swiss Apple plant stem cells: Compared to their counterparts, these stem cells have a significantly longer shelf life. When incorporated into cosmetic products, they help defend against free radicals and keep our collagen and elastin levels replenished.

Sea Fennel: This plant has been used for its medicinal properties for centuries. Its stem cells are rich in vitamins, which assist in soothing blemishes and sensitive skin. Sea fennel is also abundant in vitamins A, C, and E.

Edelweiss: Flourishing in the alpine climate, this mountain flower has been shown to inhibit collagenases, enzymes that break down our own collagen. By doing so, it helps preserve our skin’s collagen levels.

Lilac plant stem cells: Derived from the syringa vulgaris plant, which grows on the rocky hills of the Balkans, these stem cells possess incredible anti-inflammatory powers. They provide support for skin struggling with acne and post-inflammatory pigmentation.

We can’t contain our excitement as we prepare to unveil our latest product, showcasing a magnificent array of ingredients, including the extraordinary power of plant stem cells.
